My wife's favorite painting from the book, as well as the authors. It's one of my favorites, but the Reindeer piece edges it out---maybe because it was much more difficult so there was a greater sense of accomplishment. One thing I do love about this painting is the figures of Santa and the boy. I like the way the red suit pops off the page against the deep indigo blues.
