The final painting completed for the book. Over the entire process, also the most problematic: last minute changes to the composition, changes in the number of panels, even handling the type on the bubble gum wrapper. Just a lot of little things to work out. One little behind-the-scenes note: I met my wife while finishing the art for this book. She loves bugs and insects of all kinds so as I was finishing the drawing of this image and creating "toys" to float through the air, I added a ladybug pull-toy for her. The book as a whole is also dedicated to her.
