Masters Degree in Illustration from Syracuse University

Professional work has been selected for Society of Illustrators Annuals 37, 39 & 41 and his books have been represented in their annual show of art from the best children's picture books of a given year.

Currently living in Livermore, California, in the East Bay of the San Francisco Bay Area near Silicon Valley.

Teaches at San Jose State University, the best public university illustration program in the United States. Formerly an instructor at the Academy of Art College in San Francisco & The California College of Arts and Crafts.

Classes taught include: Figure Drawing, Illustration Portfolio, Intro, Intermediate and Advanced Illustration. Conceptual and Documentary Illustration, Perspective and Color.

Became interested in art via comic books and cartooning. Eventually discovered illustration and I'm now most interested in a career doing children's books and continuing to teach art at the college level.
